On a rainy ferry crossing between the South and North Islands of New Zealand in 2010, Herb jiggled his camera and became intrigued with the image. Upon return to Honolulu, he began experimenting with different raw materials.

Over the years Herb staged multiple shows in Honolulu, Washington, DC, and Lewes, DE. Links above take you to sample images from the different shows and shots from openings.

At home, Herb edited images together to produce videos on YouTube and Vimeo. The show at Nassau Valley Vineyards included a custom video looping on a monitor as part of the show.
